Overview:
Sometimes being able to print something from the Internet is important or useful… but it wastes a lot of time, ink, and paper because we end up printing lots of distracting ads, information and so forth. This is a simple tool which makes it easy to isolate only the part of the webpage you want to print and to print JUST that!

Features:
Print What You Like can be used directly from their website by pasting in the URL of the site from which you want to print or by installing a bookmarklet onto your browser. These tools will allow you to isolate ANY portion of a website. You choose. The tool also features an “Add Next Page” button which will automatically add the next page to your selection if the article or item you are selecting has a discernible “next page”. Using the easy-to-install bookmarklet gives you added flexibility as you work, so I highly suggest you opt for installing and using it if you can. There is also a Chrome extension for this tool. An added thing to note, you do not have to log in and they do not track your information, so students can use this as well.
Uses:
The most obvious use is to choose what to print and print just that. But I can also see using this tool to project ONLY what I want to share from an online source. Additionally, using the bookmarklet I was able to isolate a learning game on a popular site and play the game without the ads showing… pretty cool.
